How You Can Help

Barktown Rescue is always in need of foster homes! Because we do not have a physical facility, the number of dogs we can save is only limited by the number of foster homes we have. We take care of providing food, medical care, and all the supplies you need. All we ask of you is that you show your foster pup love and patience in helping them learn all the important skills they will need for their forever home. You also get the joy of knowing that you saved a life! Fill out a foster application here: (link to application). If you have questions about fostering, email info+barktownrescue+org.

Not ready to foster yet? We still have plenty of ways you can help homeless dogs! We are always in need of the following items:

  • Dry Dog Food - Pedigree, Purina and Iams preferred (No Ol' Yeller or Old Roy
  • Dog Crates (all sizes, especially large)
  • Cleaning Supplies (Paper Towels, Bleach, Clorox Anywhere spray, Clorox Wipes, Garbage Bags)
